Todd Gardner

Todd Gardner has been studying marine life since he was old enough to walk. He has an extensive background in marine sciences and has written numerous scientific and popular articles about his research and experiences collecting, keeping, and culturing marine organisms. In 1993 he graduated from East Stroudsburg University with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and marine science. After graduation he spent a year working for Blue Earth Films, assisting in the production of a National Geographic Explorer feature film about coastal marine life. Todd spent the next 3 years working at the world's largest marine ornamental fish hatchery, where he worked on developing technology for the production of new marine species. In 1998 Todd left commercial aquaculture to pursue a Master of Science degree in biology at New York's Hofstra University where he completed a thesis on the early nutrition of the lined seahorse, Hippocampus erectus. Todd is currently working as a professor of biology at Suffolk County Community College and as biologist at the Long Island Aquarium where he cares for a number of exhibit tanks, leads collecting expeditions, and continues his aquaculture research behind the scenes. In his spare time, Todd dives, photographs marine life and plays in a blues band.

Shalaye Camillo is a “triple threat” talent hailing from Boston Ma. As a professional Actress, Singer and Dancer, Shalaye has been blessed with the opportunity to perform in various mediums on stage and in front of the camera in live musical and theatrical performances, television commercials, film, as well as promotional and commercial print modeling campaigns. Shalaye has appeared in various television commercials for clients such as Hood, BJ’s Wholesale Club, Kaybee Toy Stores and The Big Sisters Association among others.

HONESTY CAROLINE
Honesty is full of personality and charm. Acting, modeling and playing soccer are her favorite activities. At such a young age, she is humbled to be able to represent the Garifuna Community with her recent accomplishments which include starring in a short film that was played at the San Diego Film Festival and landing a contract with one of the most successful modeling agency's in the country. Honesty' motto: "You have to know who you are, I am still a kid but I am learning".

JARRETT CARTER
Jarrett Carter is a 7 year old "straight A" student in the 1st grade and is also the 1st Grades student council representative. He's a warm loving child that bestows respect upon others because he respects himself. As a newcomer to acting, he adapted well and is continuing in building his Resumed. To name a few projects, he's filmed with Matt Damon for Water.org, the Onion News Network (Brooke vs O'Rouke), Unfaithful -Stories of Betrayal (Sharilyn &Danny), Kids for Less commercial (WPIX -11), Party City Commercial (Rob Decina/Russell Best), Target (in store poster), A Michael Buble' Christmas (NBC), Elementary (soon to be aired CBS pilot with Lucy Lui) just to name a few.

ANDREW JAMES
Andrew is thrilled to be part of Eco-Files. Andrew’s passion is singing and playing piano. Andrew sings in his Church Choir in NYC and loves making new friends. Andrew was born in NYC but goes to visit his family in Moscow during summers and can speak perfect Russian. He is very enthusiastic about trying anything new, exciting and challenging. Andrew is looking forward to being on the set!

GIANNA MANISCALCO
Gianna is a friendly, funny six year old who has been acting and modeling since the age of four. She has had her photograph featured on the CBS drama "Unforgettable" and just finished shooting as a featured extra in the new feature film "Newlyweeds". She was also part of a model showcase in Los Angeles last summer. Gianna loves to sing, dance, play with her friends and has an infectious laugh that is guaranteed to make you smile. Her biggest dreams are to be in TV, in movies, print, and to visit the Eiffel Tower.

HEATHER MASSIE
Heather is a happily-working New York actor! NY Theatre: Signature Theatre Company, Theatre Row, LaMama, Abingdon, Workshop, NEC, Metropolitan, etc. Regional: Phoenix Theatre, Flat Rock Playhouse, Mill Mountain, Allenberry Playhouse, Southwest Shakespeare Company, Southern Appalachian Repertory, etc. International: Zimbabwe, Ecuador, Russia. Film: Writer's Block; Low Battery; and the horror feature Hallows' Eve to be released later this year. Favorite roles: Rosalind (As You Like It), Eliza (My Fair Lady), Mina Loy (Mina), and Rachel (Shmulnik's Waltz).

DANIELLE ROSATO
Danielle is originally from Oregon and now lives in New Jersey where she works as an actress. Her most recent TV appearances were Celebrity Ghost Stories and Frenemies. She has also been in several films and works as a Voice Over artist. In her free time Danielle enjoys spending time with her two kids and doing crossword puzzles.

CATORI SARAI
Catori Sarai is an energetic and determined 6 year old from Durham, NC. She loves to sing, dance, act, model and simply entertain everyone around her while sharing her endearing smile and infectious laugh. After her first ever performance in “The Jungle Book Musical”, she ran off of the stage sreaming, “I wish I could do this every day of my life!” When she isn’t performing, Catori Sarai loves to play basketball and ride her bike with her brother.

JACK HORTON GILBERT(Kent)
Jack received his BFA in theater performance from Ohio University in June 2010 and moved to New York shortly after. Recent stage credits include Mount Carmel theater company’s production of Rumors and A Christmas Carol, Regroup theater company’s productions of Gentlewoman and Paradise Lost and the Julii theater company's productions of Richard II and Richard III. Film-work includes The Biography Channel's Celebrity Close Calls and Celebrity Ghost Stories among various other online projects and commercials.

OONA LAURENCE (Mya)
OONA LAURENCE is a native New Yorker who started acting at the age of 5 as the lead in her Dad’s experimental film DAYS DANCE. Since then she has shot leads in many Columbia Graduate films, including PENNY DREADFUL on location in the Utah high dessert, and a thesis film about gender/identity (VINC-ETTE-VILLE). Most recently she played a reincarnated man searching for his wife in her 9 year old body in REINC. She’s booked leads 3 indie shorts all shooting in May: BETHLEHEM, ESTHER and MOVING DAY. She’s been on stage in both dramatic roles (Cathy Ann Guthrie in WOODY GUTHRIE DREAMS) and comedies. Last summer she was voted ‘Best Performer’ by the audiences of the Turtle Shell’s Summer Play Festival for her philosophical Banana in THE COSMIC FRUIT BOWL. She is also an awesome jazz, hip-hop, ballet and modern dancer on a merit scholarship with the 92nd St. Y Harkness Center.

Jessica lives in New Jersey with her husband, TJ, daughter, Kalista, and their two dogs, Maya and Maddie. Jessica has always loved performing as an actor and musician, and most recently appeared as Madison in the short film, The Highly Observant Bill White. As a wildlife enthusiast, she is excited to be part of Eco-Files and is ecstatic to work on set with her five-month-old daughter in her acting debut.

SELENA PEREYRA (Madison)
Selena enjoys performing on stage and screen. She appeared in numerous films including Evan Silver’s “Grace,” a Twenty/120 Festival film. Participating in many local and Off-Broadway theater productions, her favorite role was starring as Baby Bonnie Bunny in The Tortoise vs. the Hare. Selena loves school and won first place in her town’s poetry contest two years in a row. She also spends many hours in the gym as a level four competitive gymnast.
